Out of the box, the SM750 does have some air to it, but because of the design to fire awkward darts, it really is not smart to use in battle. The new version (shown below) has been made to fire regular Mega's, but it still isn't used much in combat unmodded. With most guns, PVC will do the trick. Luckily, it did with the SM750.

The SM750, once PVC (or brass) modded can become a great long range rifle, or a reliable side arm. I wouldn't use it as a sniper though, from 75' away it doesn't have the accuracy a BBB or SM5k would have, but the range is quite impressive. I've gotten 125' with a micro dart, and I had about 7" of PVC on mine. Thats why I like this gun so much, it's easily modded into whatever you need. If you're looking for something to use a sniper, I would recommend the SM5k instead. If you're looking for a reliable side arm, with average ranges and great accuracy, look no further then the 750. You can still find them for around $10.
